Windermere Real Estate Southern California is pleased to welcome seasoned agents Rick Owen and Bob Waago to their Coachella Valley offices. Rick Owen joins Windermere’s La Quinta office located at 47-250 Washington Street, and Bob Waago joins Windermere’s Indio office located at 81-703 Highway 111.
Since 1998, Rick Owen and his wife annually frequented their Palm Desert timeshare. Each trip brought the desert closer to their hearts, and they moved here full-time in 2012. Now a resident of the Trilogy at La Quinta, Rick is an active member of multiple social clubs, including the men’s 18-hole golf club. He also is a member of the Palm Desert Rotary Club. Rick, an avid jazz lover, enjoys catching sets at Vicky’s of Santa Fe in Indian Wells and Backstreet Bistro in Palm Desert.
Rick began his career in real estate 20 years ago after working in the corporate aerospace engineering and management industry for 33 years. A native of the San Jose area, Rick quickly earned recognition from previous brokerages for his sales production and positive client service reviews. His reputation for integrity has earned Rick strong referral business with his clients, including representing buyers and sellers at Estacio in Indio, The Lakes Country Club in Palm Desert, and The Trilogy at La Quinta.
“After working across the table from Windermere agents, Rick expressed his appreciation and admiration with the way we conducted business in a timely and professional manner. The feeling was completely mutual, and we are pleased that he chose to join our office,” said Sandy Beakey, Managing Broker for Windermere’s La Quinta offices.
Bob Waago brings his 9 years of successful real estate sales experience to Windermere’s Indio office. A full-time Realtor® serving both buyers and sellers, Bob specializes in the active adult communities of Heritage Palms, Sun City, and Sun City Shadow Hills. A resident of Heritage Palms, Bob is supportive of the many activities and golf tournaments. He has sponsored numerous tournament holes and donated prizes for raffles and live auctions. Known as the “Donut Man,” Bob can be seen at the course opening event every season with refreshments for the Course Walk participants.
Also a native of the Bay Area, Bob graduated from San Jose State University and continued living in the area where he and his wife, Linda, raised their 3 sons. Bob worked for 25 years in the information technology industry in Silicon Valley before beginning his career in real estate. His experience in the technology industry enables Bob to work in a seamless manner throughout the real estate transaction process. “I’m excited to be a part of the Windermere family. I plan to use the vast resources of the valley’s number one real estate company to continue to provide exceptional service and results to all my customers,” shared Bob.
“Bob brings a tremendous amount of market knowledge and sales experience to our office,” said George Baca, Managing Broker for Windermere’s Indio office. “We are excited to have him join our office and will work hard to support his efforts on behalf of his clients in the East Valley communities.”Next Post Previous Post
