OC Tradition Burns Bright at the 111^th Annual Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade and Ring of Lights

The 111^th Annual Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade and Ring of Lights sets off in Newport Harbor December 18^th, running through the 22^nd. This treasured Orange County tradition is a must-experience event over the holiday season, with gorgeous light displays on boats circling around Lido Island in famous Newport Harbor. The boats, yachts, canoes, and kayaks are all self-decorated and part of a larger contest, hosted by the Commodores Club of the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce. In addition, homes along the waterfront form the “Ring of Lights,” another decorating contest for homeowners along the parade route.

To make the affair extra special, opening night features a fireworks display at 6:15pm to cast-off the four days of fun. On closing night, December 22^nd, a fireworks display will conclude the festive fun at 9:05pm.
